The Nan Xiao is the southern Chinese style of Xiao flutes. The flute features an open mouthpiece. This allows you to have more control over your tone. With a length of 64 cm this is a rather large flute. However, because the finger holes are quite close together you don't need big hands to be able to play the flute.
