Then it would only run on half choke. Definetly a carb issue. I just installed a new aftermarket carb today and its like a new machine. Have a 2003 honda recon 250. Shortly after purchasing, I purchased a new carburetor online (offered by Zoom) because I was having carb problems, rough running, cold starting, etc. Fussed with it for days and finally just bought the new carb.
