Posted October 5, 2010. If the former suggestion does not help, just unhook linkage between carb and gov to make sure the carb will actually go to the low idle positon. Could be a loose throttle plate inside carb. Also, with throttle pulled full speed and carb throttle shaft full open the linkage should just match for length.Our Farmall 460 is a narrow-front row-crop tractor. At the time of the transmission recall when the heavy duty gears and bearings were phased into production the 2 1/2 axle was dropped and all 460's came with 2 3/4 axles.Location.
