Tree sentinel build is amazing, I run it at 125 meta level PVP and IMO it's viable even there. The ash of war is pretty meh, but the golden halberd's base damage is the highest of any halberd in the game, so if you just want to use the regular halberd moveset without an ash of war it's the best choice IMO.
