When I was choosing which would be first in the 30 series (my first two .45's were G21SF and G21g4), the 30S's frame is same as 30SF and 30g4. The slide is slimmer on the 30S. I recently compared the Gen 4 G30, a G30 SF, and a G30s all side by side. All were new in the box, were blue labels and were priced exactly the same.Henry, the Glock 30s will accept magazines for the Glock 30 and Glock 21. I like shooting the 45c better, but the G36 carries better for me. The G30 I did not really like, way to thick to carry and if it's too thick to carry, then I would rather have a gun with a longer gun grip.
