Got pre-approved and paid the transfer fee. Sales guy told me it can take up to 21 days. :confused: I understand the 21 days policy but I honestly did not think it... I just bought a car from CarMax and paid cash with my check last Sunday. I was wondering how long it normally takes for Carmax to cash my check since they haven't cashed it yet. Our down payment check was cashed within 2 business days. We cash checks daily at my store. I would call them.
