It's possible to emulate the TPM with qemu but unraid doesnt have the required modules loaded so adding the config to the xml wont work. (Dont ask me how to load them though!). Hopefully in future unraid releases this will be added. Even better would be a checkbox in the VM creator to save editing the XML. 1.My problem with m,y server 2019 install is. its not able to be a domain controller no matter what i did. even did a fresh install of a new domain. it would not connect to the domain even thou it was the only controller> i tried to add it to the smb logon and when i tried that the Vm shutdown .

It may get there eventually but Windows driver development is much more difficult than Linux driver development so its no surprise. That said, VirtIO FS performance on Windows isn't bad by any means.
