Jul 12, 2011 · Bypass the PTO switch. If that doesn't fix it, bypass the clutch switch. Once you have determined which switch is the culprit, hook the other switch back up and make sure it still works. Then get some new switches and correct the problem properly. For diagnosing purposes, separate seat switch from the rest of the wiring harness by taking apart the inline connector under the seat. Put a paperclip into the two female terminals. If the problem goes away you know it is a seat switch.
